Why copying is wrong
by: me

My history teacher made me write an essay on why copying somebody else's work is wrong. Its kinda just a joke. He cant say its wrong, because everything on here is most likely true. Next time he needs to make guidelines... Rhea Powers History Pd:1 3/10/2004 Why Copying is wrong… Copying is wrong because you are copying somebody else’s work and using it as your own, also known as cheating. Homework is assigned for practice, so we can learn new things. If everyone always copied off somebody else and never came up with their own ideas or did anything for themselves, we would never learn anything. If nobody ever learned anything, we would not have all the technology and knowledge that we have today. If we didn’t have the technology and knowledge that we have today, we would all still be living in caves and depending on the work of hunter-gatherer societies. If we still depended on hunter-gatherer societies, we would have not experienced the Agricultural Revolution, and would still be living on small portions of meat and fruits. The human population would remain relatively small, and everyone would theoretically be too lazy to come up with their own ideas and solutions. Civilization would have never advanced to what it is today. In conclusion, copying is wrong and should never be practiced. The future depends on it! =D
