He was a bigot, hating Americans, and praising those who kill them. It was reported that he did not resist, and in his mind, knew that it was time to succumb to this manhunt. To be hated and hunted by the most powerful country in the world, he knew this day would come. The streets are now tranquil, except for the blatant cheers and celebratory gunshots from the mobs of American, Iraqis, and Iraqi-Americans. His political extortion to gain power was unlawful and greatly damaged the country. While the majority of the people starved and suffered under his reign, he had full power, and could kill anyone he chose. He housed terrorists, and is said to have hidden weapons of mass destruction. His astute attitude toward the concern of terrorists hinted he was an advocate of international terrorism. Now, his capture is being broadcast throughout the world, and his ubiquitous image, now seen by all. American and Iraqi flags surge with every gust of wind, as amicable citizens celebrate the end of this manhunt together. The adverse entourage questioned Saddam and it is reported that he refused to admit to human rights abuses. As the impresario of the case says, “We got him. The tyrant is now a Prisoner.” The capture of Saddam Hussein serves as a great asset to the war against terrorism.
